'Cities at the Front Lines of Floods, Storms and Droughts' will be delivered on the Zoom video conferencing platform (https://zoom.us/). To get the most out of this program, use a laptop or desktop computer, only use the dial-in number as a contingency. Make sure your internet connection is strong and your web camera is operating properly. Keep your web camera on during class so you can participate in the discussion.
One week before the class meets you will receive an email with instructions on how to enter the virtual classroom, how the instructor will structure the class, and how class participation will be addressed. The more engaged you are during each session, the more you will get out of the program. Attendance to all sessions is required to complete this online certificate program.
Please make sure to review our Online Technology Guidelines and Online Code of Conduct in advance. By taking this program, you are agreeing to the GSD Executive Education Code of Conduct. As this document stipulates, we can only award a Certificate of Completion in our multi-session programs for full participation and attendance.
GSD Executive Education has moved to providing digital certificates for all of our programs, which verify your full participation and are a public representation of Harvard University. Full participation is necessary to earn a program certificate. Extended absences from class sessions will disqualify enrollees from receiving a certificate. Please look for an email after the program clarifying when and how you will receive your certificate.
